CAPITAL LINE-UP

This year will see one of the most exciting line-ups of

diving speakers yet at a London Dive Show.

A newcomer to LIDS will be Red Sea-based technical diver John Kean, author of the definitive book on the Thistlegorm, who will be providing a new perspective on this great shipwreck. Leading freediving coach Marcus Greatwood will tell you how improved breath control can benefit all scuba divers; he drew crowds when he made his Show debut at Dive 2008. You never know what new ideas LIDS will throw your way!

Also lined up for ExCeL are perennial Show favorites Monty Halls, whose current projects include his TV series Beachcomber Cottage and a scuba/rugby tour of South Africa; Diver’s John Bantin, on the trials of gear-testing; and, talking of gear, kit configuration king Jack Ingle.

Top underwater photographer Alex Mustard joins Photoshop guru Saeed Rashid and camera expert Paul Duxfield once again to conduct the sessions the Digital Clinic.

With Technical and Try-Dive pools, more than 250 companies expected, free to enter seminars and other attractions to be announced, you can expect to be busy when visiting LIDS at ExCeL.
