A Show favourite is the UK’s foremost sub-wreck diver Innes McCartney who will bring us up to date on the three wrecks that featured in the recent TV series Deep Wreck Mysteries.

Wreck-Hunter Extaordinary
We’re delighted to welcome David Mearns, one of the world’s most successful deep-sea shipwreck-hunters. He rediscovered the Bismarck and found HMS Hood; the Americas’ oldest colonial shipwreck, the Esmeralda; and the deepest-ever wreck, the Rio Grande. More recently, he discovered HMAS Sydney – the greatest maritime mystery in Australian history.

John Boyle

Top underwater film director John Boyle previews his latest films – Forgotten Remains Of War, about the Japanese war wrecks of the Solomon Islands, and The Richest Reefs On Earth, set in remote Raja Ampat, an area that boasts more than 1000 species of fish alone.

From Chesil Beach And Back
Paul Rose became a familiar face on British TV when the Oceans series was broadcast, having led that globe-spanning diving expedition. In Chesil Beach and Back he looks back over 39 years as a diver, via the US Navy, Antarctica, the Arctic and Oceans: “It hasn't done me any harm!” he says.
