Show Features at DIVE 2009 will include:
ASIA PACIFIC SHOWCASE

This area is dedicated to the fabulous diving throughout the Asia Pacific region. Dive centres, resorts and liveaboard operators from countries including amongst others, Cambodia, Indonesia, Palau, Papua New Guinea and Thailand will all be displaying what’s on offer in their part of the world, and will be on hand to answer questions and show colourful and inviting presentations of super rich tropical waters, the home of curious inhabitants from the minute to the massive, creating great photographic opportunities. In fact one destination may very well not be enough! There will also be an exclusive book launch, lucky draws and competitions with great prizes - not forgetting special deals and discounts galore. Plan your trip with the help of the experts on the Asia Pacific Showcase!
BRITISH ISLES EXPERIENCE (sponsored by Suunto)

In 2009 all the indications are that more people than ever will be holidaying close to home, and that includes divers. This all-British exhibitor zone made its debut at LIDS last year, and now returns as an established part of the Dive Show scene. It features a number of leading dive centres and charter-boat operators keen to promote their brand of diving. The British Isles Experience is sponsored by computer manufacturer Suunto, which will giving three prizes from its top-of-the-range computers each day. And expect a taste of Britain at the British Bar in the heart of the exhibition, selling real ale and British food!
RED SEA ZONE

A selection of prominent Red Sea dive centres and tour operators will be on hand to deal with you enquiries in the “bigger & better” Red Sea Zone. The attraction of the Red Sea is clearly as great as ever, as Egypt reclaims its place in the affections of UK divers and takes the Destination of the Year title in the DIVER Awards, reported elsewhere in this issue.
The Chamber Of Diving & Watersports is the main sponsor of this part of the show. They are working hard to maintain the Red Sea’s qualities, and promises to stage a range of presentations through the weekend to highlight what’s happening in the region.
